# Four jobs, one skill set

Selling to people who run their own businesses, and building the things that help them sell. Here's what that looks like today.

## Territory Manager, Ostbye

Since July 2024 · Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana

I grow and manage a three-state territory of independent jewelry retailers for Ostbye, a fine jewelry and bridal manufacturer.

I work with owners, managers, buyers and sales associates on new accounts, product performance, promotions and associate training, and I balance the manufacturer's goals with each store's day-to-day realities.

## Independent manufacturer rep, Golden Mattress Company

Since 2017 · Dallas, Texas

I sell for Golden Mattress Company, a Dallas mattress manufacturer, as an independent contractor. I grew its wholesale distribution to more than 70 retail stores around Dallas, and I train store staff on how different foams and springs feel, so they can sell them with confidence.

I also built both of its websites. Dealers log in at ordergmc.com to order, with the catalog, price list, selling tips and marketing ideas. Shoppers buy mattresses at goldenmattressretail.com.

## Founder, My Jewelry Marketing

Since August 2026 · Oklahoma and Texas

Store owners kept telling me the same thing, "I know I need to be on social media. I just don't have the time," so I started doing it for them. Once a month I film in the store, then I make and post a month of Facebook content and send a one-page report on the 1st.

In my first month with Ell's Jewelry in Shawnee, its Facebook page went from 7,779 views to 48,543.
