My Jewelry Marketing

I started My Jewelry Marketing in August 2026 to film and run Facebook content for independent jewelry stores. I come into the store, shoot their pieces and their people, and turn it into a month of posts.

Why I started it

As a territory manager for Ostbye, I'm in independent jewelry stores across Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana most weeks. The owners have great inventory and know their customers by name. Almost none of them have time to show it online. I heard the same thing at counter after counter: "I know I need to be on social media. I just don't have the time."

I'd been teaching myself video and AI tools, so I started doing it for them.

What it does

Each month I spend 3 to 4 hours filming in the store, and the owner gives about an hour of that. From the shoot I make product videos, educational carousels, photo posts and review posts in the store's own look and voice, write the captions, and schedule everything on the store's Facebook page. On the 1st of each month the owner gets a one-page report on what worked.

The main package, On-Location, is 16 pieces of content a month for stores within about three hours of Dallas. A Studio package covers stores anywhere in the US. Both are month to month.

What I've learned

Everyone tells jewelry stores to post Reels, so I went looking for the data. Socialinsider's numbers show multi-photo albums getting 8.5 times the median views of Reels on pages with 1,000 to 5,000 followers, and albums stay ahead in every follower band they measured. Most of the "Reels win" advice comes from studies of big national brands, and a single-location jewelry store is much smaller than that. So each store's mix follows what its own reports show.
